Hey! I'm Nolan Weisz, and I've been making music for as long as I can remember! My love for music started with singing and piano, and now I try to learn a new instrument each year! I discovered at an early age that my musical abilities can make an impact on people and help them connect with God and with one another. I've never turned back! I met Jon and the rest of the band during my call at Good Shepherd in Moorhead, MN. During that call, I also met my future wife and kids. They have completely turned my life upside down, and I wouldn't change it for the world. We enjoy adventures, travel and snuggles at home. I now work as Worship Arts Director at Calvary Church in Alexandria, MN. I never know where God will take me or how He will use me, but I know He is with me on this journey. I am so excited to worship with you soon!
Jon Dahl / Guitar, Vocals
Jon has led worship and ministry training sessions at many churches, church events, conferences, private events and Bible camp events. When COVID hit, he put a renewed focus on worship leadership training & technology consulting.
Jon went to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where he sang in The Concordia Choir and studied Ministry and Music, He worked for Pathways Outdoor Ministries during college and was a Worship Director for 10 years before taking a job as the Administrator of the Calvary Partner Network. Based out of Calvary Church in Alexandria, MN, the Calvary Partner Network is a brand new network of churches designed to help churches thrive. He is very active in the worship and technology ministry at Calvary as well.
Jon has a wife named Lisa and in 2019, they welcomed a son named Abram “Abe”. They love to travel, spend time with friends and family, attend music events where Abe leads the room with his dance moves, and just enjoy the outdoors.
Matt Endreson / Keys, Vocals
My name is Matt Endreson, and I am blessed to play in this band with amazing musicians and Christians as well. I am 37 years old, married to my beautiful wife for 15 years, and have two amazing daughters. I also am a high school choir director, work with music within a church, and play with this group, Red River Worship, that has a mission to uplift faith with music. One could say that music is a huge part of my everyday life! Playing keys with this band has heightened my faith and love of Christian music. The music we have and play, can speak to the soul and heart on what life is about. You will not find a better group of guys that love to worship and provide music ministry to all that will listen.
Eric Addington / Guitars
My brother made me a Led Zeppelin mix tape when I was a teenager. I picked up the guitar after that and it’s been a constant companion ever since. After a couple of years trying to play like Jimmy Page, my brother gave me another mix tape. This time, it was the acoustic duo Chris & Johnny who later became Storyhill. Since then, I’ve spent 25 years as an acoustic guitar player, songwriter, and singer – most of that time with my friend Bill Lempe as a part of Flatlands. In the summer of 2016, my family and I went to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and were drawn in by the people and the music. I got into the band rotation that fall, and have enjoyed the return to electric guitar playing. It’s an extraordinary group of musicians and technicians that I feel lucky to call friends.
Todd Carlson / Drums
I live in Moorhead, MN with my wife and two sons. I have been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Moorhead since I was 3 years old. I started playing drums in the 6th grade band. I was introduced to the full drum set as a member of the 8th grade stage band and fell in love with playing the drum set immediately. I have played in working bands since my junior year of high school. The bands I have played in the past are The Bends, The Moe’s, The Sugar Beats, Haywire and Avalanche. I am currently playing with The Good Shepherd Worship Band and Red River Worship.
I am part of a very musical family. My wife is an amazing flautist and a band director. My oldest son plays trombone and my youngest son plays trumpet. We all enjoy going to live concerts and musicals of many varieties. My musical tastes include The Eagles, Brook & Dunn, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, REM, Rush, Garth Books, Journey, Imagine Dragons, Matchbox Twenty, Train, Goo Goo Dolls, James Taylor, Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher, Rend Collective, etc…
It is truly a blessing to be surrounded by the talented musicians in Red River Worship. I look forward to every single rehearsal and performance with this fine group of musicians. Being a part of this group has enhanced my spiritual life. I am humbled to be a part of the powerful worship experience that we provide through our music.
Josh Swanson / Bass
Hello, and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Josh, and I have the good fortune of playing bass guitar in Red River Worship. My wife and two daughters attend Good Shepherd Lutheran, where this band was born. My love for music was passed down to me and my siblings from our parents, especially my mom, who is a violin instructor. As a youngster my family lived across the street from Vinje Lutheran in Willmar MN, where we often played on Sunday mornings our perspective instruments, mine was trombone! In time, I picked up a few more instruments and in college I was able to lead worship during the summer months at Camp Emmaus. During that time, bands like Jars of Clay, Caedmon’s Call, and Third Day were very popular, and influenced me a great deal. These bands still resonate with me today! After college I played with the band EyeWitness for just about a decade, leading music at synod youth gatherings, church events, youth nights, and camp gigs. I am grateful for the opportunity to play music with Red River Worship and to participate with all of you in singing and experiencing God through music.
